Kuranda Train and Rainforestation

Kuranda Train and Rainforestation all in one excellent tour package is a great way to explore Kuranda.

First hop onboard the historic Kuranda Train, one of Australia’s most historic and train journeys.

This train will wind through tunnels and bridges, passing spectacular waterfalls and gorges.

Along the way, the Kuranda train will stop at Barron Falls Station.  The Barron Falls is a  spectacular sight, particularly when roaring with water during the wet season.

Next, visit Rainforestation, a World Famous Kuranda attraction.

There are so many beautiful areas to visit at Rainforestation, so make sure you get a map, so you don’t miss any.

Start with cuddling a koala for a fantastic photo opportunity and then hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies.

Next, pay a visit to the  Tasmanian Devils, crocodiles,  Cassowaries and Tree Kangaroos.

Then find a comfy seat at the  Rainforestation Ampitheatre for Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience, including indigenous dance performance.

Next, take the  Dreamtime Walk, including didgeridoo playing, spear throwing, boomerang throwing.

Kuranda Village

Then ride the shuttle to  Kuranda Village and explore the unique Kuranda markets.

Here you can discover souvenirs and art galleries.   This market is a great place to find some memorabilia from your visit to North Queensland.

While you are in Kuranda, visit the Australian Butterly Sanctuary.   Here you can see the Cairns Birdwing butterfly and the stunning Ulysses butterfly.

After a day of exploring, sit back and relax as we travel down the Kuranda Range to Cairns.
