Horse Riding Cairns and Green Island
This tremendous two-day package of Green Island and Horseriding from Cairns has you snorkelling and swimming on one day, and then Horseriding through the rainforest the next day! A great package for the whole family!
Green Island
Green Island is a beautiful coral cay within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, 45 minutes ferry trip from Cairns.
This tropical island is covered in rainforests and is also surrounded by sandy beaches and coral reefs. So see Green Island your way with a choice between a glass-bottom boat tour or the use of snorkelling equipment.
The friendly crew will help you to organise your day on the journey out to maximise your time on Green Island. Once on the island, you can relax on the beach, take a walk through the rainforest or experience the reef with your snorkel gear or glass-bottom boat. There are no designated snorkel sessions, so you will have the freedom to spend as much or as little time in the water as you like.
There are multiple options for lunch – visit one of the restaurants on the island or pack your own picnic.
Horseriding Cairns – KUR-Cow Barwell Farm in Kuranda
This farm experience is minutes away from the beautiful rainforest village of Kuranda.
Firstly, spend some time enjoying a range of farm activities. You will start with the Horse riding tour. Followed by time at the ‘Mini Animal Farm‘ where visitors will get up close and personal with pigs, chickens, guinea pigs, parrots, sheep and more!
It’s time to explore!
Your tour guide will select the most appropriate horse for your size and skill, and you will be escorted to your new buddy for the day once the horses have been prepared. After that, we’ll head out into the magnificent environs for around 1 hour of horseriding.
You will be safely helped off your horse when you return to the farm.
This truly is a day out for everyone interested in experiencing the wonders of horseriding through nature’s majesty. With horses and tours to suit all abilities from toddlers to adults as well as novices to more experienced riders.
On the other hand, perhaps you want to maximise your time in Cairns? In addition to your Horseriding Cairns and Green Island Package, why not visit the Cairns Wildlife Dome as well? Speak to our friendly team to see how you can add this to your package!
